Derek served in the field of education as a certified teacher and coach (golf, baseball, football, basketball) prior to entering into real estate. “There is so much research and information conveyance now in real estate, my background in education and technology has been invaluable in helping me both perform the mechanics of real estate and communicate the information to the client.”
Having been in Arizona for most of 40 years, Derek has a broad knowledge of Arizona and it’s many offerings. In particular, Prescott has such a variance of offerings in home types, area characteristics, and terrain aspects; Derek is eager to help clients with the learning curve in order to find the property of their dreams or sell their home as quickly and precisely as possible. “Buyers and sellers require someone who knows the area, researches precisely, communicates quickly and efficiently, and maintain honesty and openness. You will find that here at Lindquist. I have benefited over the years from an office that has immense local knowledge from decades of owning, selling, buying, and maintaining properties here in Prescott.”
Derek enjoys traveling when he is able to places such as: Mexico, Guatemala, England, China, and Mongolia as well as the all over the U.S. and Arizona. “I love to explore mountain trails just about anywhere in Arizona but we are so fortunate to have many trails right at our doorstep here in Prescott”.
